at the Obie-Award-winning Brick Theater

Wiley Water Productions co-produced Sex and the Abbey in association with the newly formed playwrights' collective, The Omnivores, and The Sống Collective and sold 90% of tickets during the three week run.

This show was believed to be the first production of a Việt female playwright’s work in New York City and the show will feature a BIPOC, all-female- or non-binary-identifying cast, and a majority BIPOC and female- or non-binary-identifying production team.

About Us

Written and Directed by: Lalia Hayes

Director of Photography: Fletcher Wolfe

How Are We Feeling Today? is more than a short film about a dancer with an eating disorder; it’s a story about the resilience it takes to fight for recovery. It’s a inspiring

story about fighting like hell to recover and live life on your own terms.

Based on personal experiences, this short film challenges harmful stereotypes, offering a raw and occasionally humorous portrayal of the battle against an eating disorder. Wiley Water Productions was proud to lead production on this project with an incredible team whose work was featured in Sundance and SXSW.
